Shauna Kruse

Shauna was raised in a small business household & has always had an entrepreneurial spirit because of this. She’s been a professional photographer for 25 years, & makes gemstone bracelets. This is her 10th event that she’s organized with events in Seattle, Louisville, and Tampa. She’s been an avid reader her whole life & loves being part of the book world.

Harper Black

Genre: Contemporary Romance,

Harper has always wanted to write. After taking a screenwriting course, the characters she wrote for an assignment wouldn’t stop speaking, so she told their story. She loves traveling, music (she plays guitar), cooking and whiskey or wine tasting, depending on where she is in the world. And of course she loves romance. She’s looking forward to coming from Wisconsin to connect with readers and authors

RL Merrill

Genre: Contemporary, Paranormal, Horror, queer and het protagonists

RL writes to heal. Now it’s a compulsion that helps her function in the real world. She lives in California and is alternately bossed around by Velma the Rescue Great Dane and twin black cat familiars, Frankenstein and Dracula. She loves concerts, skulls, tattoos, and collecting vinyl. She can’t wait to come to Seattle to meet more West Coast book folks.

C.M. Kane

Genre: Sports Romance

CM Kane was born and raised in the PNW, and has lived here her whole life. She’s been telling stories for as long as she can remember. She loves love and  sports, so it made sense to smash them together in her books. She can’t wait for the event to meet readers and chat about books.

Amanda Shelley

Genre: Contemporary Romance, New Adult, Sports Romance

Amanda has always been an avid reader, and finally decided to start writing down her own stories. When she’s not writing, you can always find her with a book/audio in hand and an iced tea nearby. She will never pass up a trip to the beach, even if it’s just to visit for the day. She love road trips and it doesn’t phase her to travel long distances in the car.

Dana Delamar

Genre: Mafia romance & MMF erotic romance

Dana has wanted to be a writer since she was a kid, and was always writing stories. She started writing romance stories for friends about their favorite rockstars when they were teenagers and the rest is history. She is always reading 2-3 books at a time and binge watching several shows.

Elizabeth Guizzetti

Genre: Gothic, Horror, Vampires/Erotic

Elizabeth started writing when she was 12, and also does her own Gothic/vampire artwork. She lives with her husband and Walnut, her dog. They love exploring the mountains and coasts of the PNW. She is also an avid social dancer. She can’t wait to meet readers & other authors at the event.

Elle has been writing for years & thinking about publishing. When she was laid off, it seemed like a sign from the Universe to make it happen! She & her husband live on the Washington Peninsula and love hiking, watching the water, & camping. They are new cat parents and working on getting them leash trained.

Emily Paper

Genre: Nonfiction & Rom-Com about divination

Emily was raised on a commune, which was where she developed her fortune telling skills. As an adult living in geeky Seattle, she felt that the best use of her divination skills was to write fiction and nonfiction about it! house is stuffed to the brim with living things of all kinds. All of her plants have Shakespearean names, and all her pets have superhero names.

Heather Renee

Genre: Fantasy & Paranormal Romance

Heather originally started writing as a challenge from a friend, then kept writing because the voices in her head wouldn’t stop yelling at her to tell their stories. She mostly writes grumbly wolf shifters. Her favorite things to do include nothing & sitting by waterfalls in the middle of nowhere. She has four pets, two cats & two dogs, including a 150ish pound great Dane who things she is a lap dog.

JP Barnett

Genre: Horror / Comedy / Urban Fantasy

Writing has always been passion and hobby for JP. When he had the opportunity to take a break from work to write a novel, he jumped at it and has been writing full time ever since. When he’s not writing, he spends time with his wife, plays video games, and watches a lot of movies. He has an on again/off again movie review website where he puts his thoughts.

Kathy is a PNW author, and writing has always been there for her, once she started she couldn’t stop. She loves musical theatre, karaoke, NBA and her dog. She can’t wait to connect with readers!

KJ started writing because she had stories that needed to be told. She loves reading, her husband is her best friend, and she’s about to get a dog. She can’t wait to connect with readers and other authors at the event.

Liv Rancourt

Genre: M/m historical paranormal & contemporary paranormal

Liv always knew she would be a writer, but as she approached 50, realized that she was running out of time, so jumped in. She’s addicting to crocheting, and LOVES to read. She has a senior dog, and cat sits her grand kitty Praline.

Paris Hansen

Genre: Crime Fiction & Romance

Paris has loved telling stories since she was a kid, and knew that someday she would be an author. When she’s not writing she starts to feel like she’s going crazy. Besides writing, she loves sports, especially baseball, and she travels to watch her nephew play in tournaments. She also loves doing puzzles, especially if she’s dealing with writer’s block.

Renee Alan

Genre: MC Romance, Contemporary Romance

Renee had an idea and wanted to see if she could finish something-she’s a great project starter, but finishing is another story. She has enough half completed scrapbooks and crocheting projects to prove it. That challenge turned itself from one book to many. She loves to read, & attended this event twice as a reader before coming as an author. She loves to travel, cook, spend time with her family, and the ocean. She has a very spoiled Boxer named Zoe, ten chickens and a loud rooster named Bert.

Becca Ryden

Genre: Fantasy/Romance

Reality is fine, but it’s missing a few important things—magic, dragons, and maybe a cute, cuddly puppy that can secretly bite the bad guy’s face off. Since the real world doesn’t come with those by default, Becca started writing them in, writing romantasy packed with swords, magic, and the occasional mooing cow. Her characters feel real, often carrying dark pasts while searching for love even if they don’t realize it yet. When she’s not writing, Becca spends her time with her fur babies, running from the occasional spider, or saving the universe one NPC at a time.

Cassia Quinn

Genre: Dark romance, mafia romance both M/F &reverse harem

Writing has always been a passion for Cassia. She decided to take a chance on herself in her late twenties and, with the support of her husband, released her first book a few years later. Cassia loves reading, (big surprise, she knows!) Her other interests include interior design, fashion, and espresso. Lattes and London Fogs are her favorite beverages. She has four spoiled cats who keep her company while she writes. She and her husband also enjoy road trips, history, and rainy days. She’s currently binge watching the show Medium.

Christina is a voracious reader who began writing stories like those she loved to read; romance books filled with heart, heat, and suspense. She lives in the inland Pacific Northwest with her husband and two kids. When she’s not writing, reading, or knitting, she’s watching football or baseball (depending on the season) or fueling her planner, sticker, and washi-tape obsession. She’s heard so many great things about the event and can’t wait to meet everyone.

Erin Brockus

Genre: Steamy small town beach romance

Erin started writing started during the pandemic because she always wanted to write a book. After her hours were cut at her job, she needed to fill her time and started writing. Five years later she’s had over fifteen books published. She loves curling up with a great book and a cup of coffee, and she also enjoy being outdoors: hiking, running, camping, and biking. She can’t wait to meet new readers and catch up with ones she’s met already.

Jesikah Sundin

Genre: Fae Romantasy

Faerie tale words have sung in Jesikah’s blood from the time she was a wee thing with scraped up knees and wild hair. Most of her afternoons were spent in a tree fort she built by the house, crafting up worlds and drawing maps. She was always obsessed with learning about other cultures and customs too. She earned her first regular newspaper byline at seventeen with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, followed by a career in academic research (in the sciences) and various technical writing positions, eventually landing on fiction in 2010. It’s been a beautiful rush of imagination since, with several faerie tale inspired worlds and series.

KL Parsons

Genre: Adventure Romance

K. L. Parsons has been a romance reader since before she was old enough to read romance. It holds a special spot in her heart. So, when the idea to write about a woman getting lost in the woods with her sexy guide swarmed her mind, she decided to make her mark on the industry. When she isn’t crafting swoony stories, she can be found hiking, climbing, cross-stitching snarky patterns, playing the nerdiest of board games, reading romance, and scurrying from room to room trying to figure out why the hell she walked in there to begin with. She lives in Washington State among the lush evergreens with her husband, son, and doodle named Frank.

Lance West

As an avid book listener and performer himself, the moment Lance realized that he could be the voice telling the stories he dove in headfirst. Lance grew up in a time when love stories seemed to fit a certain formula, and now to be able to tell stories about all different kinds of love feels very important to him. Lance lives on the San Juan islands, and loves dogs, coffee, tattoos, books, dancing, art and family. Lance is looking forward to the event because of the people!! It is always such a joy to come together as a unified group of people with a shared interest. Especially when that shared interest is books!

Laurie Ryan

Genre: Contemporary romance, small town and billionaire.

Laurie’s husband says she started writing to keep her out of his hair, but really, she’s been an avid reader her entire life and knew that when she had the time, she wanted to write. She enjoys scrap-booking and making birthday cards as well as some amateur rock painting. She loves to be outdoors and is looking forward to gearing up her walking again. She can’t wait to meet readers and other authors at the event.

Leah Cutter

Genre: Cozy fantasy, cozy mystery, quirky science fiction

Leah has seen some weird stuff, both in real life as well as in her imagination. She wants to be your tour guide to go explore someplace new together. She’s a fulltime author living the dream. She lives on 6.5 acres of woodlands. She’s married, but doesn’t live with her husband. Instead, she lives in a tiny house M-F, and stays with him on the weekends in the main house. This works well, as he’s also a fulltime author. She loves crafts; knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing and more. Her garden and yard bring her joy as do the birds that come to her feeder.

Linnea March

Genre: spicy small town and celebrity romance

Linnea has always been a writer, from a young age. She had so many storylines in her head, that getting them out on paper was the only balm. She never learned how to blow bubbles with gum. She reads at least a hundred books/full length stories a year, reading has always been her first passion. She has two children, a husband, and aging plump dog. She can’t wait to connect with readers and chat with others who love books.

Lynne Hancock Pearson

Genre: Contemporary, and small-town romance

Lynne writes kissing books: fun, flirty, feel-good fiction. She creates diverse, realistic characters and ensures that they reach their happy ever after. She can’t carry a tune in a bucket. She won’t upgrade her phone because she’s still trying to figure out the current one. She makes her bed every day. She wooed her husband with my library card, and she’s woken up many a morning with a book hangover.

Maida Malby

Genre: Romance (contemporary/multicultural)

Maida started writing in 2016 and hasn’t looked back since. She lives on the Washington Peninsula and loves to cook and garden, watch Chinese and Korean dramas; and follow her favorite women’s basketball and tennis players—Caitlin Clark and Alex Eala. She cherishes the opportunity to meet and talk books with new readers and fellow authors, especially her fellow Filipino Americans from the PNW.

Robin Jeffrey

Genre: Mysteries with genre twists! Classic murder mysteries with scifi twists & urban fantasy romance!

Robin started writing with an eye towards publishing about 14 years ago, but she’s been a scribbler all her life. She loves comic books and her and her husband spend a lot of their spare time curating their completely out of control comic collection. She is looking forward to connecting with new readers and getting to meet other amazing authors at the event.

RK Devon

Genre: Epic fantasy romance

R.K. Devon writes epic fantasy romance with a side of angst. Her husband joins her at events as an unpaid intern, and together, they offer handcrafted leather goods and bookish items, all designed and crafted in-house. R.K. Devon was born and raised in the PNW, and is proud to call Washington her home. Two cats keep her company as she writes, a sweet mother-daughter pair that she has been raising since she was a college student. When not writing, she loves trying out new recipes and restaurants. Pizza-making is her latest obsession (and she’s not very good).

Rae Tina

Genre: Contemporary and Paranormal Romance

Rae Tina started writing around 2016, but didn’t start publishing until 2018. She has a fur baby cat, Tiger. Rae loves collecting Funko Pops, putting together Lego sets, and going on vacation with her bestie Julie. She is coming in from New York City, and she’s looking forward to meeting all of the readers.

Cathlin Shahriary / Tabitha Vance

Genre: YA Fantasy / Contemporary Romance

Cathlin has always been an avid reader. She fell in love with the fae through Julie Kagawa and Holly Black, but there weren’t many more YA storiess with them at that time, and she wanted more, so she decided to write them. She has two cats and a dog but also foster cats through her local rescue group. Besides reading and writing, she loves anything creative and dabbles in painting, crafting, and screen printing. She’s also a huge K-pop fan and loves going to concerts.

SM Stryker

Genre: Romance and Romantic suspense

SM started writing because the stories wouldn’t leave her alone. They lived in the quiet spaces of her mind, characters carrying pain, secrets, and wounds they didn’t know how to heal. She could see them so clearly, feel the weight of what they’d been through, and the only way to give them peace was to tell their story. Because a lot of those stories were about her. At first, It was simply about getting the emotions out of her head and onto the page, but became the place where everything slowed down long enough to explore the depths of a heart that had been broken—and the powerful, fragile way love could piece it back together.

Stella Williams

Stella started writing because she wanted to see more diverse representation in paranormal romance. She loves all things creative. She lives in Pasco, WA and is looking forward to being around people who love reading and writing as much as she does.

Su Ring

Genre: Mainstream romance – main female characters are 50+ years old

Su started writing at six to get the voices out of her head. She loves hockey, Iron Maiden, and BTS. She loves singing the national anthem at sporting events, especially hockey games, and loves singing karaoke with friends. She also loves driving to the ocean (any ocean). She’s looking forward to seeing author friends she hasn’t seen since the last event, and meeting new authors, vendors, and readers, and introducing Betty to them.

Tera Lyn Cortez

Genre: Fantasy & Paranormal, occasionally dabbling in Women’s fiction/romance.

Writing has always been a passion for Tera, and it just made sense to start publishing those stories. She loves to to read, ride horses, spend time at the beach and hang out with family. She’s excited to mingle with everyone at the event.

T.J Deschamps

Genre: Paranormal Women’s Fiction, Fantasy, & Cozy Fantasy Mysteries set in the PNW (and other realms)

TJ has always been an avid reader, family story teller, and artist, and building worlds with words was the next natural step. Her books are about magical misfit women finding family, community, and love one adventure at a time. When she’s not writing and drinking copious amounts of coffee, she loves to lift weights, hike, kayak, find a new artistic project, or curl up with a book and nice cup of tea. She loves to travel and explore both her own country and abroad.

Tonya Clark

In addition to being a writer, Tonya is also a photographer and soccer coach. She’s married to a hot firefighter and they have two amazing daughters. She is excited to meet readers and see her amazing author friends at R&W Seattle.

Ashley writes romance and romantasy that either touch your heart or tear you apart emotionally but it’s always a great time. Ashley started writing because she wanted to get her story out in the world. Seeing inspiration everywhere, her mind builds entire worlds that she feels will provide an escape to those who need it and hope to those who don’t have any. Writing had always been an outlet for Ashley’s pain, joy, secret dreams, and quiet tragedies. She loves spending time with husband and young son watching movies, or going to the park or zoo.

C.L. Collier

CL has loved writing stories since she was a kid. She has two older kids (20 & 17), three dogs, and her and her boyfriend have been together for almost 8 years. She loves to read, write, travel, and she’s a huge Disney nerd! She loves being part of Readers & Writers Seattle, and can’t wait to see everyone again!

Coral Alejandra Moore writes fantasy & paranormal romance filled with found family and queer characters. All of her books are kissing books. She lives with the love of her life in a forested glen filled with butterflies and birdsong where most days she pretends to be a princess.

Chelsey Ann Tompkins started writing her own endings inside her books as a whimsical child. Now, as a whimsical adult, she gets to write her own endings to her own stories of fantastical worlds, evil curses, romance, and spicy men who know how to steal your heart. She lives for a good book, a rainy PNW day, and a hot cup of coffee

Heather Greye

Genre: SciFI Romance

Heather devoured anything and everything, from sci-fi and fantasy novels to historical romance and Harlequins. Her favorites were the stories that combined swoony romance with fantastic adventures. Now she creates her own worlds and plays “what if…?” Heather lives in Seattle with her husband and two cats. When she’s not writing, she reads, travels, tries a new recipe, or enjoys a quiet cup of tea.

KM Ringer

Genre: Dark Romance

KM started writing because of the compulsive need to get the stories in her head out onto paper, then she realized she loves it. She has two small pups: Wall-E and Pippen. Her happy place is the beach which works out well since she lives in sunny Santa Cruz. She is excited to meet other authors and readers at the event.

Harper Robson

Genre: Contemporary M/M Romance

Harper has wanted to be a writer forever, it just took her until her late 40s to actually do it! She currently lives in San Diego but is a PNW girl at heart, and misses it. She is a big hockey fan (still has Seattle Kraken season tickets from when she lived in Seattle), She’s a mom to two teenage boys and a super sweet yellow Lab. She loves the rain, tropical beach vacations, and champagne.

Lisa Shelby

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Lisa started writing when her husband challenged her to give it a shot. She thought he would be the only person to read it, but he loved it so much he encouraged her to publish and the rest is history. When she’s not writing she spends her days singing out of tune, laughing with her silly husband while they plan their next travel adventure, binge-watch way too much TV with the volume way too high so she can hear over her snoring French Bulldog.

Meredith Spies

Genre: Queer Paranormal & Contemporary Romance, Horror, Cozies

Meredith starting writing because there were stories she wanted to see that weren’t out there already. Outside of writing, she loves gardening and is in danger of letting plants take over her home these days. She also enjoys spending a lot of time with her awesome kid, poking around tide pools in her life long quest to see an octopus in the wild, getting tattoos, cooking, and, to no one’s surprise, reading!

CL Thornton

CL started writing because all the stories in her head needed to go somewhere. She has been writing stories since she was about 11 years old. She is a mother of five and a grandmother of two. Her favorite activities are spending time with the family whether it be going on walks or getting to walk the bookstores. She loves to paint, write, and can draw a little bit and She get hooked into TV series easily, and of course reads.

Shelli Stevens

Genre: Sexy contemporaries but also has a paranormal series

Shelli has always been a huge reader and wanted to try and write the stories she wants to read. She loves getting outdoors and doing easy hikes, watching sunsets, and lately she’s really gotten into discovering my favorite plus size fashion styles. She’s married with two cats and two daughters. She is also a very active Irish Dance mom to one of her girls.

Sheri Queen

Genre: Contemporary Fantasy Romance; Paranormal Mystery Romance

Sheri began her journey as a life-long reader who wanted more than to just read the books and decided to write them. The first placed she lived in as a child was a library. Part of the library was turned into two apartments. Her family lived in one, and her aunt and uncle in the other. Books became a natural part of her life, and the area became part of the stories she writes. The small town, the river, old cemeteries, folklore, and the history behind the people and the town are all bits of her life she likes to share in her stories.
